A Life Filled With Energy, Family, and Friendship
Born on March 4, 2002, in Princeton, Indiana, Zane was the son of Scott Wampler and Amanda Roberts. He spent his life surrounded by a close-knit family and a wide circle of friends who remember him for his kindness, infectious smile, and enthusiasm for the outdoors.
Professionally, Zane worked for his uncle at Roberts Boring, where he earned the respect of those around him through his strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed. Those who knew him describe him as someone who approached life with determination while always making time for the people who mattered most.
Outside of work, Zane found joy in outdoor recreation and spending time with friends. He was passionate about fishing, riding four-wheelers, dirt bikes, and side-by-sides, and he enjoyed playing football. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Amanda Roberts of Wadesville, Indiana; his father, Scott (Melissa) Wampler of Evansville, Indiana; his sister, Kaylee Wampler; brothers Kyle (Lauren) Wampler, Daniel Wampler, Jordan A. Wampler, Scotty Wampler, and Jace Wampler; his maternal grandparents, Jeff and Missy “Mam and Pap” Roberts of Princeton; paternal grandparents Marty “Peepaw” Dill of Evansville and Ricky and Rita Wampler of Owensville; uncles Brandon (Julie) Roberts, Heath (Meg) Dill, and Chris (Dawn) Adcock; niece and nephew Elaina and Jayden Wampler; cousin Kyra Roberts; along with many extended family members and countless friends whose lives he touched.
Funeral and Memorial Information
Due to public gathering restrictions in place at the time of his passing, funeral services were held privately. Family members asked those wishing to attend future celebrations of Zane’s life to contact them directly for additional information.
Zane was laid to rest at Walnut Hill Cemetery. The family also welcomed floral tributes, meals, and memorial donations to help offset funeral expenses.
